Set Currency

The default currency is 'dollar' (used in countries including the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the Eastern Caribbean territories, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Brunei, East Timor, Ecuador, Suriname, El Salvador, Panama and Belize). There are a variety of options to suit international use. Any change in currency should be made prior to entering data in BCSS.

1. In BCSS, in the upper left corner, click on File, Program Setup, General.
2. Under Currency Symbol (right center) use the drop-down menu to select a currency.
3. Click Save or Save/Exit to save the setting.

If your currency isn't listed in the menu

1. Click on the blue down arrow.
2. Select 'Enter Text'.
3. Replace 'USD' with the desired currency symbol.
4. Click Save or Save/Exit to save the setting.

Set Date Format

The default date format in BCSS is mm/dd/yy. There are a variety of options to suit international use. Any change in date format should be made prior to entering data in BCSS.

1. In BCSS, in the upper left corner, click on File, Program Setup, General.
2. Under Date Format Options (right center) check the desired format.
3. Click Save or Save/Exit to save the setting.
