Duplicate Inventory ID Numbers

If the Inventory Item ID is 2-part (like name-number or number-number), it is possible for the next item number stored in the database to get out of sync.

The second part of the Item ID can be reset manually.

1. First, select the Consignor and click on Items at the bottom of the screen.
2. Click on the Header named ID to sort the Item IDs. Click again to sort highest to lowest.
3. Note the highest Item Number.
4. Enter a new single item on the New-Inventory Screen, entering the next-highest number.
5. For subsequent items entered the program will start numbering using the next highest number.
