| Print a Few Select Labels | Home Previous Top Next |
A new BCSS feature allows for the printing of select labels for one consignor, or for multiple consignors at the same time.
(Click here to see how to print using a partial sheet of labels.)
Print Select Labels
If the Batch-Enter Screen is used to add items for a Consignor, just click OK on that screen after entering items (instead of printing labels at that point). Items will be recorded in the database and labels may be printed later as shown below. For a small number of items of course the Add-Inventory Screen (F3) can be used.
Either way, after items are entered into inventory, follow the steps below to print a few select labels:
Click Labels on the Main Menu and select Inventory.
There are 3 ways to determine which labels to print:

If a range (like 1-20) is designated and some labels are 'missing' check to see if 'Quantity Greater Than 0' is checked at the top of the Inventory Labels Screen. If it is, labels will not be printed for items not in inventory, or Quantity = 0.

Print on a Partially-Used Sheet of Labels
A partially-used sheet of labels may be used so as to avoid wasting labels.
On the Inventory Labels screen (Main Menu, Labels, Inventory) enter the number of the next label available on a partial sheet of labels in the field named Print Labels From:

For example, if 13 labels have been used on the sheet, enter 14 in this field and feed the partial sheet of labels into the printer 'used end first'.
BCSS will skip the first 13 labels and begin printing on the 14th label.
