Auto Title Loans

Loans against vehicle titles are treated as pawns in PPSS.

PPSS (Pawnbroker Pawn Shop Software) is a pawn software program that has an added feature for making Vehicle Title Loans - loans against titled vehicles. Throughout the program references will be made to 'pawn because PPSS is a pawn software.

Configure PPSS for Your Business

1. In PPSS click on File (upper left) then Program Setup then Options (upper right).

Establishing a New Title Loan

1. Press F5 to create a new customer record. The 'Add New Pawner' Screen will appear.

   Scanning a drivers license can populate the screen with name, address, height, weight, license number and date of birth. (Results may vary from state to state.)

   Enter as much information as you like or that law requires. (State and local police will dictate their requirements.)

2. Press OK to save the record or press 'Save and Continue' (or F5) to save the record and start a new record.
