The CMPD Software Pawn Ticket

The pawn ticket in CMPD Software is configured for Charlotte police specifications.

The pawn ticket can be altered, however existing information must remain on the form for compliance. A customization service is available for the amount specified for 'Custom Forms' on the Order Page.

The pawn ticket is printed on plain 8.5" x 11" copy paper. This adds the cost of printer ink and paper but eliminates more costly preprinted forms. Moreover, because the form is editable, changes can be made without concern for wasting preprinted forms.

To Print a Ticket:

1. In the Work-Area Menu (upper left) click on Pawns to switch to the Pawn Work Area.

   

2. Select a pawn from the list of pawns.
3. Click the Quick Link on the right named Print Ticket.

   

4. Click on the printer icon at the top.

   

5. If more than one copy of the ticket is needed, set the number of copies desired on the Windows Print Screen.

Notes:

In Program Setup (General tab) check 'Print Preview Off' to avoid seeing the Print-Preview Screen prior to printing tickets. This may not be advisable if Print Preview proves to be useful in confirming ticket accuracy prior to printing.

If more than one copy of the ticket is to be printed, rather than rely upon Windows to remember the # of copies to print, go to the Control Panel, select Printers and right click on the printer used to print tickets. Select Properties and look for a setting that will allow you to set the # of copies in the printer software. (Windows often loses settings.)
