User Text

Buyers and pawners are identified in many ways in PPSS - by name, address, zip code, birth date, etc.

They may also be identified by text that is determined and assigned by the PPSS user (ergo 'user text').

As buyer and pawner records are added or edited, the 'User' of PPSS can enter any text (up to 64 characters, no spaces) in each record's 'User-Text Field'.

Here's a simple example:

We want to create a list of pawners who are interested in guns, so as we add or edit each pawner's record, we add 'guns' as the text in each User-Text field.

Then, when creating a list of pawners interested in 'guns',  enter the word 'guns' in the User-Text Field when creating a report:
